Magnification and Image Orientation
When a Fresnel lens is used as a simple magnifier and held close to an object (object within the focal point), it will produce a magnified, upright virtual image, similar to a regular convex lens in the same situation.
However, if the object is further away than the focal point, a single Fresnel lens will also produce an inverted real image. This is the same behavior as a simple convex lens
Multi-Element Fresnel Systems
Just like with traditional lenses, Fresnel lenses can be combined with other optical elements to create systems that provide magnified and upright images. For example, some projection systems or specialized magnifiers might use multiple Fresnel lenses or combinations of Fresnel and traditional lenses to achieve this.
